Transcriber Requirements

You need to be

  • A self employed freelance transcriber
  • Reliable, flexibile with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Conscientious and take pride in your work

Computer Requirements

Transcribers should have

  • A PC with Windows 2000 or above
  • Microsoft Word 2003 or above
  • Broadband internet service
  • Transcription software preferably with a foot control pedal.

Transcribe UK recommend Data Supplies & Accessories Ltd if you require transcription software and a foot pedal.
